Biography

Sumaya Faraj, Lecturer in Nursing and Nursing Year 1 Coordinator at RCSI-MUB School of Nursing and Midwifery obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from College of Health Sciences in 2000 and obtained her Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2008 from Glasgow Caledonian University – Scotland.
From 2000 to 2011, Sumaya worked as a nursing Lecturer at the College of Health Sciences. She was involved in theoretical and clinical aspects of teaching. She tough in different Nursing programs and coordinated different courses such as Associate Nursing program, post Basic Cardiac Nursing Program, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor Nursing Program (Completion).
Her research study was about The Perception of Bahraini Nurses working at the Coronary Care Unit regarding Providing Sexual Counseling for Post Myocardial Infarction Patients.
