Biography:

Maryam Yaqoob, lecturer for the Healthcare Assistants at RCSI – Bahrain School of Nursing and Midwifery obtained her Associate Diploma in general nursing from College of Health science -Bahrain in 1999 and worked as a staff nurse in intensive care unit at Bahrain Defense force – Royal Medical Services from 2000 -2003. From the period 2003 -2005, Maryam returned back to College of Health Science and obtained her BSc in Nursing and continued to work in intensive care unit as a senior staff nurse until 2010. During that, she started her part time master studies in general nursing in RCSI – Bahrain and completed in 2011. Her research topic was “Nursing students’ Attitudes Toward Caring for Dying Patients During Their Clinical Placements”
