Biography

Eman A. Tawash, RN, Dipl.HCM, BSN, MSc.Edu, Lecturer of Nursing and Director of the Undergraduate Nursing Programme. She graduated from the College of Health Sciences with BSN (1999) and worked as a nursing lecturer and clinical instructor since then. She did her Masters Degree in Health Professions Education in the Arabian Gulf University, Bahrain (2004).

In 2005 she was appointed as an Educational Specialist in the Educational Development Center, College of Health Sciences and worked as a counterpart for the Chairperson of the Department.

She served in many educational and administrative committees and task forces during her work in the College of health sciences and received many awards for accomplishing outstanding jobs.


Research Interests

Her research interest includes medical education and clinical nursing. Her previous research included perceptions of nursing students about nursing, self-directed learning of students undergoing a case-based curriculum, early detection of breast cancer through breast self-examination and differences of cultural beliefs about breast feeding.
