Biography

Edgar Anunciacion, Lecturer in Nursing and Nursing Year 1 Coordinator at RCSI-MUB School of Nursing and Midwifery obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Angeles University Foundation (Philippines) in 1992 and completed his Master’s degree major in Medical/Surgical Nursing in 1995.

From 1993 to 1999, Edgar worked as a Clinical Instructor and Professional Nursing Board Reviewer in the Philippines and subsequently worked as Nurse Tutor at Bahrain Defense Force Royal Medical Services from 2000 until 2006.

His research studies included the effectiveness and efficiency of the participatory and traditional data gathering methods in community assessment and the effect of therapeutic touch on the degree of pain of Post-Caesarian section patients.
