Student Assessment

A range of student assessment methods are utilised across the programme, that are consistent with the programme content and learning outcomes and meet educational quality indicators. Student assessment methods reflect a combination of continuous assessment procedures, student led seminars and examinations that include portfolio, research proposal and a dissertation.  Student centred learning as an active process will be encouraged and it is envisaged that students will take responsibilities for their own progress as they move towards becoming competent and reflective practitioners.  All assessment methodologies require students to reflect and focus on the development of nursing practice.
