The admissions procedure for the school of medicine includes the following stages; submission of Online Application Form, submission of Essential Documents, IELTS / TOEFL Examination and Interview. Only applicants that meet the academic requirements will be asked to attend an Interview .
Applicants who receive an invite and attend the interview stage, will then be faced with one of the four outcomes:-
• Candidates may be issued with a Full Offer (if all original copies of the essential document have been submitted)
• Candidates may be issued with a Conditional Offer (if final examination results are not yet available, i.e. the offer is conditional on achieving specific results which will be detailed in the offer letter)
• Candidates may be placed on a Waitlist
• Candidates will be issued with a Regret letter to indicate that they have been unsuccessful in obtaining a place
Candidates who receive either a full offer or conditional offer will then have to secure their place by paying a deposit. Please refer to Tuition Fees
Applicants who do not achieve a high grade in the placement exam or are highlighted by the admission committee, may be asked to attend a course of English sessions at the university before the start of the academic year. For more information please click here
