The programme is developed in the context of a modular framework; this means that students who continue to be in clinical practice, education, or management posts are able to access the programme. The programme is modelled on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). The programme offers six modules in the first year and 1 module and a dissertation in the second year. Each module consists of approximately 30 hours of lectures and tutorials. There are learning outcomes for each module and each module has its own assessment approach with the student accumulating credits as they progress through the various modules.
