RCSI BAHRAIN’S INAUGURAL ‘SIGMA THETA TAU INTERNATIONAL’ EVENT

The School of Nursing in RCSI Bahrain is currently in the process of starting the first chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau International in Bahrain and the Middle East. As a first step, the School has formed the Ruffaida Honorary Society, under which it will be organizing a number of events per year.

The first event of the year will be held on Thursday, 28th February, to which we are inviting a guest speaker from the School of Nursing in RCSI Dublin; Professor Seamus Cowman. Professor Cowman will be presenting a paper titled” The professionalization of Nursing: Can Bahrain Learn from the Irish Experience?”

Attendees of the event will be given a chance to learn more about the Sigma That Tau International and the current Ruffaida Honorary Society. Nursing Staff from all Bahrain’s hospitals present the majority of this event’s guest list.
