RCSI Bahrain International & GCC students are granted access to a public Health Care Centre where they are provided with primary health care services for a nominal fee. In addition, the King Hamad hospital is located right next to the RCSI campus and there are many other private hospitals out of Busaiteen as well such as the American Mission Hospital.

Health Insurance

The university does not currently offer health insurance for students however independent health insurance can be obtained from any health insurance provider within Bahrain.

Blood Born Viruses Screening

All new international students are required to undergo a medical screening at the beginning of the academic year according to Ministry of Health regulations, and this is organized by the Student Support Centre. For more information, please contact Ms.Donna Rice (drice@rcsi-mub.com)  from the RCSI Bahrain - Student Support Centre. 

Student Travel Award Fund

The purpose of funding a student travel award is to support attendance at national/international conferences and other events in order to foster the academic credentials of RCSI Bahrain students and to promote the academic standing of the University. Priority will be given to students presenting on research/education.
