The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland- Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI Bahrain) held a dinner for the 2011 graduating class of the School of Nursing & Midwifery at Al Arisha on the 8th of June. The dinner was a celebration for the 77 undergraduate nurses who will be conferred on the 13th of June.
Attended by both academic and administration staffs from RCSI Bahrain, speeches were made by Prof Charles Docherty and Ms Batool Al Mohandis which highlighted the international qualifications that they earned, and how proud the staff of RCSI Bahrain are of these new healthcare professionals. The class representative, Ms Hanan Nabeel gave an inspirational speech thanking the staff of RCSI Bahrain for arming them with the means to succeed. She said that their education had just started, and they look forward to continuing with RCSI Bahrain to achieve further milestones in their profession.
Medals for academic excellence were present by the Director of the School of Nursing, Prof Docherty and Senior Lecturer Ms Al Mohandis.
