The RCSI Institute of Leadership helld is and graduates of the following three programmes were conferred MSc in Healthcare Management MSc in Quality and Safety in Healthcare Management Diploma in Leadership and Organisational Development.
The Ceremony was presided over by Professor Ciaran O Boyle, Head of the RCSI Institute of Leadership and Professor Kevin O Malley, Foundation President of RCSI-Bahrain, represented the National University of Ireland. Honourable guests included His Excellency Lt. General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Brigadier Professor Sheikh Khalid Bin Ali Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Medical Services and Professor Faisal Al Mousawi, President of RCSI-Bahrain.
Student validictory addresses were given by Dr. Duina Hashimi on behalf of MSc in Healthcare Management and Dr. Mohammed Shoaib on behalf of the MSc Quality and Safety in Healthcare Management. Dr. Mohammad Al Muharraqi spoke on behalf of the students of the Diploma in Leadership and Organisational Development.
Professor Ciaran O Boyle said ' “We, are focused on to the formation of a new generation of healthcare leaders. Our graduates, now in nine different countries, are well placed to assist their communities and organisations to cope with the emerging challenges in providing safe, modern and effective healthcare for the greatest number of patients.”
Professor O Malley said ' Post graduate education and training is demanding and success depends on great commitment not just from the students themselves but also their employers and their families. Therefore we would particularly recognize the institutions that supported today’s graduates'
