UOB DELEGATES VISIT RCSI BAHRAIN

Following on from the original visit to the University of Bahrain’s (UOB) campus back in October during which a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed, Professor Tom Collins, President of RCSI Bahrain hosted a delegation from UOB lead by Vice President for Research, Dr Nadhem Alsaleh. Available to meet the delegates on arrival was Prof Cathal Kelly, CEO RCSI, Prof Hannah McGee, Dean RCSI Dublin and Prof. Sameer Otoom, Dean RCSI Bahrain

The visit aimed to explore potential collaboration opportunities in different areas in students and faculty exchange and research. The meeting included introducing the academics from both universities and their research interests. It was agreed to form a committee to identify specific areas of collaboration opportunities.

Both Prof Al Bastaki and Dr Al Sayed commented that it was “a great pleasure to visit RCSI Bahrain and we look forward to cooperating together in the near future.”
